What are beeswax wraps?
Reusable food wraps are a natural and sustainable alternative to single use plastic and aluminum foil. While many mistake them for wax paper or parchment paper, beeswax wraps are made from a piece of cotton fabric coated with a blend of beeswax, pine resin, and jojoba oil.
Protect your food, your health and the environment at the same time:
By using wraps made from natural ingredients, you prevent your food from coming into contact with plastics or other components that can be harmful to your health and that of the planet.
Many uses, one wrap:
Although most of the time we use beeswax wraps to keep our food fresh in the fridge, it’s also possible to freeze bread or pastries, wrap a sandwich, or take nuts for a snack on the go. You can also try using them to cover your solid cosmetics or toothbrush on your next trip.
and take the first step towards a more sustainable home
HOW DO REUSABLE FOOD WRAPS WORK?
Wraps are activated by the heat of your hands, pressing firmly until they adapt to whatever you want to cover. They stick to different materials and to themselves; you can cover a bowl, wrap half an avocado, or take a snack with you on the go.
Reusable wraps are ideal for storing food in the refrigerator and freezer without generating waste.
HOW TO WASH MY WRAPS
Since they are sensitive to heat, it’s not a good idea to put your wraps in the washing machine or dishwasher. Wash them by hand with cold water and mild soap, or clean them with a damp cloth.
OW TO STORE MY WRAPS
Once clean and dry, you can store your wraps in a drawer or rolled up in a container, away from heat sources.
HOW CAN I RECHARGE MY WRAPS
You can use our recharge pill or place some beeswax on top of the wrap and melt it in the oven or with an iron.
AND IF I DON’T WANT TO REFILL THEM
Your beeswax wraps are biodegradable. You can use them as a fire starter in a fireplace or barbecue, or cut them into small pieces and throw them in the organic bin.
Other ideas: Use them as a tablecloth or coaster, cut them into strips to use as rope, make pennants to hang outside.
What NOT to do with your wraps?
· Don’t put them in the oven or microwave.
· Don’t wash them with hot water or use a hard sponge.
· We don’t recommend using them with raw meat, chicken, or fish.
· Wait for your food to cool down before covering it.

Beeswax wraps are made from 100% cotton fabric coated with a blend of beeswax, pine resin, and jojoba oil. This combination of natural ingredients allows for safe, plastic-free storage, ideal for those seeking a sustainable lifestyle.
Thanks to their composition, these handmade wraps are washable, reusable, and environmentally friendly. Since they contain no synthetic materials, they avoid unnecessary waste and can be used repeatedly without losing their effectiveness. They are a truly eco-friendly alternative for wrapping food at home, while traveling, or outdoors.
Reusable beeswax wraps are activated by the heat of your hands. Just press gently until they conform to the surface you want to cover. They work on containers, fruits, bread, or other foods and also adhere to themselves.
They’re perfect for preserving food in both the refrigerator and freezer. You can use them at home or outdoors, always protecting them from the sun and heat sources. They’re a practical and conscious choice for those looking to preserve food without generating plastic waste.
Washing beeswax wraps is simple and part of their responsible maintenance. Do this by hand with cold water and mild soap, without rubbing vigorously. You can also wipe them with a damp cloth for a quick clean between uses.
Avoid washing them in the washing machine or dishwasher, as the heat damages the wax coating. When drying, let them air dry and store them once they’re completely dry. This will extend the life of this reusable and eco-friendly product without losing its adhesive properties.
Once clean and dry, you can store your reusable beeswax wraps folded in a drawer or rolled up in a container. The important thing is to keep them away from heat sources such as stoves or windows with direct sunlight.
During hot weather, you can even keep them in the refrigerator to maintain their firmness and texture. Thanks to their natural material, they don’t require complicated care. With proper storage, your cloth wraps will continue to serve you for months as a practical and sustainable solution.
When beeswax wraps lose their stickiness or show dull areas, it’s time to refill them. You can use a refill tablet or apply beeswax directly to the fabric and melt it with moderate heat.
You can do this using an oven or iron, following simple steps. This way, you extend its shelf life without generating waste. Refilling your wrappers is an economical, practical, and environmentally friendly way to continue preserving food consciously, without having to constantly replace them.
If you decide to throw away your reusable beeswax wraps, remember that they are biodegradable and compostable. You can cut them into small strips and use them as a fire starter in fireplaces or barbecues, or add them to your compost.
Another option is to give them a second life as coasters, ropes, or decorations. Because they’re made from natural materials, they don’t generate polluting waste. Choosing this type of sustainable product not only protects your food, but also the environment, even at the end of its useful life.
